Dance meets multi-media

When: 3.00 - 5.00pm, 3 November 2007
Where: PICA, Perth Cultural Centre, James Street, Northbridge

STRUT dance will host British choreographer,
Carol Brown, who is renowned for her evocative works that
merge dance with the mediums of film, installation and theatre.

Brown will be in Perth for a workshop, Dancing in Wired Nature,
to be presented with Danish architect, Mette Ramsgard. This workshop will
culminate in a free two hour installation event based upon Brown and Ramsgard's
collaboration SeaUnSea. Ten members of STRUT dance will perform in this work.

SeaUnSea is a serenely beautiful piece that evokes an evolving seascape.
Performers play and explore, attracting, repulsing and entwining their
actions within the evolving patterns of a swirling hypnotic sea.
