An evening with an artistic innovator



STRUT is delighted to host one of the most innovative dance artists working in Europe at the moment.

Choreographer, dancer and artistic director of RE.AL, Joao Fiadeiro is the creator of a revolutionary composition technique called Real Time Composition. Born in Lisbon in 1965, Fiadeiro has established himself as renowned researcher in improvisation and composition.

In Perth for a series of workshops with STRUT dance, Joao is also leading a FREE forum on his techniques. This an opportunity for Perth's broader artistic community to hear from a true artistic innovator.

In the forum Fiadeiro will discuss his famed method, Real Time Composition, and how it has inspired a number of creative ventures, such as Blind Date.

Fiadeiro will expose, describe and demonstrate the modus operandi of this revolutionary method of artistic practice with examples by way of video excerpts and graphics.
